Revlon Photo Ready Eye Art

Revlon seem very skilled at producing very pretty, sparkly makeup items, don't they. Of course, the second I saw these I had to buy them. Revlon seems to be a fan of this style of packaging, where there's two 'different' products in one tube. In this case, the Eye Art series has a glittery eyeliner/"mascara" on one end, and a liquid, metallic eyeshadow on the other. When they say mascara, I think what they meant was that you can use the liner to just add some glittery goodness to your normal mascara. 

I purchased what I felt were the two best colours, Peach Prism & Topaz Twinkle.

So, is it worth nearly $22 per tube? To me, no. I just expected so much from how beautiful it looks before it's applied. I definitely prefer Peach Prism, the colours are just much more flattering and unlike Topaz Twinkle, it's not as obvious that the liner is very thin in formula. The liquid eyeshadows are just a really weird texture, it's hard to describe. All I know is that the Topaz shadow settles very obviously into my eyelid creases and it's just plain unflattering. Once again, the Peach Prism shadow is better because the colour just doesn't seem to highlight creases like the Topaz one does. However, I do like to use the liners as just a subtle bit of glitter under my lower lashes. But overall, I cannot justify the high price tag, I'm disappointed.
