Memebox - Oh! My Lips

I can't tell if Memebox has spoiled me and I'm just very fussy now, but upon first look, I'm so disappointed in this box. I think this might be my least favourite Memebox. I ordered this box because a) I love lip products b) It was bundled with a lovely sounding box that I will review next. I was expecting maybe a Pure Smile honey & snail lip balm, I can't remember what it's called but you know the one. Or some cute lip colours/glosses. Maybe even a $1 lip patch would have been good seeing as how I remember patches being mentioned in the description for this box! But, nope. Just five bland, cheap looking items that are just so boring. Anyway, I'll test out the items and see if there's anything worth salvaging here. 

Vivito Painting Sweet Lip Balm 02 Berry Farm - This was the spoiler for this box and I wasn't thrilled but it did look like a really nourishing, pretty lip balm. I do like the tin, it's a beautiful colour, the balm itself is too [Look at that gorgeous red!]. The jelly texture can feel a bit heavy and makes me worried that everything that can get stick to my mouth, will. The ingredients are promising & it delivers a good amount of colour. I don't really think this would cost $24 though.

Lassie'el Kiss Me! Glam Up! Lipstick - These look so tacky to me. Even the unusual no-quite-lipstick-tattoo gimmick is enough to keep me interested. Plus I just realised that my pack doesn't contain 'Oriental Red' and yet there's two 'Lucid Orange' lipsticks. Probably the ones I'm least likely to use. I don't know, I just can't even imagine these working too well. I'll try them some day in a fit of desperation but today is not that day. 

SR Lip Scrub - When I first tried this I couldn't even notice anything that felt like it would even mildly exfoliate my lips. But then it got better. The beads are very fine and I'm not sure but this felt almost like a peeling cream for your lips as opposed to a scrub. It's better than the Shara Shara lip scrub I received in a previous box. I think I might like this, I'm pleasantly surprised and this might just turn around the box for me.

Vivito Dessin Solution Lip & Eye Remover - There's no way this can cost $32, surely. I didn't realise this had two layers & hence you needed to shake the bottle before using it. Oh well, my eyes don't hurt so I'm sure I'll be ok. This essentially seems like a makeup remove I guess. It's meant to be soothing but yeah, I've only used it once so far and it did a good job of removing my waterproof mascara. 

Rosemine Vitamin E Lip Balm Mint Tea - I have a Palmers lip balm that tastes and feels exactly like this already. It just has cuter packaging and costs more apparently.

Overall Impression: Ok well I hate this much, much less now after actually trying some of the products but I'm still not really enthusiastic about it. There was just so much Memebox could have done but they just didn't. And this is yet another box that did not live up to it's little intro - "Bursting with a lip masks, lip patches, lip balm, and lip-thingamabobs, plus some holy-grail lips colors, this box is the answer to all your winter lip problems. All goodies are made with a bold blend of potent age-delaying, moisture-enhancing, volumizing, and smoothing ingredients to give you the look of beautiful, plump, and youthful lips!"

Yeah, the products are ok but I feel like Memebox just really wanted to rush this box out for whatever reason. The SR Scrub might be the better product here, closely followed by the Vivito Remover. The other items will most likely gather dust in my skincare/makeup drawer.
