Memebox - My Lovely Boutique

So this isn't really what I expected when I ordered a box called 'My Lovely Boutique'. I don't know why, but I expected a more mature sort of 'My Cute Wishlist' box, or feminine luxury - Lightly scented hand lotions, maybe some beauty tools, who knows. But anyway, let's check this out shall we... 

Shara Shara Acerola Moist Oil Balm - I'm still trying to give Shara Shara a chance, trying very hard. I do really like the red tin, very pretty. It smells a bit fruity but not like the typical cherry scent, which I expected because of the little cherries on the tin. It's not bad, just like a more enriched version of Vaseline or something. 

Shara Shara Only You Necklace Lip Balm No.1 Juicy Peach - Nope. Good idea, but nope. This is like a child's play-makeup, the pendant itself looks so cheap, you can see in the photo above that the gold foil is all bubbled and just...bleugh. Same item but with better execution, I would've been happier. There is no universe in which I would pay $34 for this.

Shara Shara Natural Shining BB SPF36 PA++ - Well I do still like the idea of amethyst powders and diamond powder. Added SPF is always good but yeah, I don't really wear shiny BB creams. I'll get my Mum to try it, seems more like her style.

Etude House My Castle Hand Cream - Ah this is cute, I received the Sweet Cookie variant. It smells so sweet and doesn't feel too heavy like other hand creams. I shall house it next to my Christmas-themed tissue box on my bedside for now. 

Too Cool For School Dinoplatz Cinema City - I've never tried a CC cream before and heaps of people seem to like this product so I'll test it out for a week at least. I'm pretty set on which primers/foundations etc I use so it will have to really impress me to work it's way into my regular rotation. I do love the box design though, so cute.

The Yeon Jeju Hallabong Energy Pack - Now this I like. I'll probably use the whole pack before the week is over! There's not much I can say about this besides the fact that it sounds promising, but not much differentiates these three 'masks' from others and I don't know, that's fine. I like a traditional pack mask.

Purchased: $25 USD

Overall: Looking back over Memebox's original 'blurb' for this box, it looks like it was focused more on 'cute' items. So, in that case, I guess My Lovely Boutique was exactly what it should have been. The name just conjured different ideas, this is more like a differently-named My Cute Wishlist. I've given away two items and really only like the Etude House cream and Yeon Energy Packs. Bit of a disappointing box all in all.
