Planet Earth Foot Spa

Time for an actual product review this time! I have been working so much these past few weeks at a job that requires me to constantly be on my feet and most shifts end with my poor feet feeling incredibly sore and sad. I have comfy shoes, good socks, the whole shebang, but they're still pretty swollen occasionally, and dry. So, I've been after a foot spa for a while now and when I saw this Planet Earth one in Target on sale for $45, I raced to the checkout with it! It's not only cute, but made my feet very happy.

This pack even comes with full size accompanying foot products like the Cucumber & Mint Foot Scrub & Foot Soak, Intensive Repair Foot Lotion, Rough Cut Soap, a little loofah, and a Pedicure Pod/exfoliator. That definitely helped me with choosing this particular foot spa too, it's a complete package. The products themselves are nice and are all made from a naturally derived formula, no bad stuff here. My only issue with these products is that they smell a bit strong, very cucumber-y. I don't know why, but it smells almost too artificial to me, but seeing as how it's all natural, I'd doubt it. 

According to the products' packaging, they are free from:

• Artificial Colours
• Mineral Oils
• Parabens
• PEGS [Polyethylene Glycol] 
• SLES [Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate] 

Not only this, but Planet Earth are against animal testing which is always a huge plus in my book. Coming from a brand whose slogan is 'Kind to your body, kind to the Earth', this isn't too surprising which is definitely a good thing. 

Now, onto the foot spa itself:

Holy moly, I love it so much that it's made me start saying things like holy moly. There are three settings that you can use:

1. Bubbles
2. Keep Warm & Infared
3. All three settings at once [Pictured below]

The bubbles are pretty standard and to be honest, I don't really see what they do. Now that I think about it though, it's probably just to circulate the water I guess. And it looks nice too, definitely adds to the relaxation aspect. The Keep Warm function does what it says pretty much, it keeps the water warm. If you put warm water into the spa it will maintain it's warmth but this spa will not heat the water. It works really well, I kept used this spa for around fifteen minutes and the water was still nice & toasty. Now, the Infared function. This I really do not understand. Apparently it adds a bit of extra heat to your feet in order to open up their pores and deliver deep relaxation. I didn't notice anything too major but hey, it can't be bad if it's there to aid relaxation, right? But be warned, this is a pretty loud spa. It's not extreme, but it does block out a fair bit of stuff, if that bothers you. 

This is a rather large tub which is great for me because my feet are a little on the bigger side and I managed to rest them in there comfortably. I love the little rollers that you can just massage your feet with. They're not super effective but they do feel nice.Add a couple of teaspoons of the Cucumber & Mint soak, and you have a really nice spa that didn't cost an outrageous amount. I'd recomennd using this spa in conjunction with the Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi if you want feet as soft as a bunny.
